More Stormville Flips

In addition to the wooden crates, we also got other great treasures at the Stormville Flea Market.  We got a wooden toy box with handles for $1 and a small kids table for $3.  A tea cart with wheels for $4, an old $3 shoe shine box, and a $2 shelf.

We cleaned up the kids table and the toy box.  We added a faux leather padded top to the toy box.  It makes a wonderful little kids bench and perfect for kids craft or toy storage!

The old tea cart needed a little fixing up.  We sanded it down and painted it black.  We covered the top with some faux leather and added a silver handle/towel rack.  Dad attached a wine rack and added some slots to hang wine glasses.  Here is our finished bar cart:

And for the shoe shine box, we needed to even out a broken leg to keep it symmetrical.  We sanded it down and painted it black.  We decoupaged a map of New York City/New Jersey on the top and on the side is written "A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step"

As for the shelf, we added a back and painted it black.  In between the shelves we lined it with a black and white snake skin fabric.  Below the shelves we added five silver knobs, perfect for an entryway or bedroom

Stay tuned for more flipped creations!
