ReStore Redo

With all the cabinet doors we bought at the ReStore, we decided to make some end tables.

We bought two cabinets with glass centers and two pieces of wood to place behind the glass.  the cabinets were white and brand new so we didn't need to do anything with those.  We lined the piece of wood with the black and white snake skin material and Dad attached it to the back of the cabinet so you can see the material through the glass.  Dad also built a base for it and Mom painted the base and legs black.  The final product from a total of $5 worth of materials:

For another set of cabinets that were solid, we found some pieces of glass that fit nicely over the indented part of the cabinet.  For these, there were two smaller rectangular cabinets that would make perfect end tables and a long skinny cabinet that would make for a perfect matching coffee table.  We figured we would line the indented section with a fabric and place the glass over top.  We spray painted the cabinets black, liner the inside with some material we had and Dad made the bases that Mom painted black as well.  The finished set looks incredible!

For this set, the materials totaled about $6.  We are sure to make a good profit on this one!
